Highlight text with PowerNotes and the "topics popup" will appear. Select a topic to organize your research. The "notes box" will open and you can add a note. Save your highlight by hitting enter, clicking on the check mark, or by clicking off the notes box.
To see your highlights, notes, and a link to the source, open the "sidebar" by clicking the PowerNotes icon in the lower-right of your browser. Access an outline of your research by clicking on the "Project Outline" link in the sidebar.
Highlight any text on the internet or in a saved PDF (just open saved PDFs in your browser). Disable or enable PowerNotes by clicking on the PowerNotes logo in the extension tray in the upper-right portion of your browser.
